I would like to title today’s review, “Three Beards”. Because that’s how many you will have if you see these films.

First off let’s start with Predators. Now I was extremely skeptical about this movie when I first saw the trailer. In fact, I think I may have just shaken my head and cried a little bit. Frankly, there hasn’t been a truly good Predator movie since the first one. I sat through about forty minutes of AVP then changed the channel. This is a series that has been really… really bad as of late.

This however could also have been said about the Batman movies. Then Batman Begins came out and blew our minds. It was the best Batman movie of all time. It changed the face of the series.

Predators may or may not be better then the original (I’ll leave that up to you), but my gosh it is most certainly the Batman Begins of the Predator series. This movie is everything you could ever want from an Predator movie. Great actors, great action, suspense, a million bullets, and some of the most testosterone filled fights ever.

I’ve always admired Adrian Brodey, and he seriously brings the ruckus in this film. Along with the skull smashing action, there is plenty of laughs and even character development (believe it or not).

If you’ve been waiting for an awesome summer action movie, wait no longer, go see Predators!

Now. The next film is not out yet, but I… I mean I… you know what, just watch the trailer and admire your new beard.
