And the finished page is up! I’ve discovered that I am far more productive in the mornings then I am at night (as far as comic book making is concerned anyways). Unfortunately I work at 6:00 am almost every morning, therefore this isn’t a very practical option most days. I make the observation none the less.
On another note, would anybody be interested if I was to attempt to set up a ustream one of these days to show my process and chat it up a bit? That is of course if I can figure out how to get ustream to work. Just something I’ve been thinking about. Let me know what you think. I would set a date for it ahead of time so you would know when it was.

Woof. Well, the finished page should be up later today. I ended up getting tied up with a lot of stuff this week, it’s been nuts! In the mean time you can enjoy a little look at the progress of a Jackie Rose page! (see how I disguise my unfinished product as bonus content?)
I’ll blog a bit later as well, but for now, I sleep.

Great comic well thought out plotted and drawn, cant wate for more!!!!!,,,,,
{*v*}
Ooh! Bonus content!
Last panel: Why, that’s not a nice smile at all!
Well, lady, if you don’t like the seat you can always stand.
Josh, it’s like I can see your confidence grow with every page you update here. It just keeps getting better! This page is looking fantastic. Makes me anxious to see what you will do for Marooned
Ice Raven: Why thank you, friend =)
dadman: I know right? Jackie’s not a very sympathetic friend haha. I also appreciate the sincere frankness of your username. Let there be no question that you sir are a man and a father.
Rags: Dian is unamused. lol
Tom: Thanks Tom! I need to get crackalackin on that guest comic. It doesn’t matter if you give me a month or five years to do guest work, it’s getting done in the last couple weeks #slacker. lol
Page looks zoppity! And if you figure out Ustream, let me know! I’ve been thinking of it too.
Let me know if you figure out the ustream i’d be really interested in it! Oh, and I love the faces in the last panel…priceless they really are. I think I’ve seen that look on your face once or twice….
Dian sure is annoying!
Love Jackie’s face in the last panel.
Mike: I’ll let you know, and I may be ringing you up on ichat at some point when I get it rolling.
Shelby: I make that face almost every day lol.
Insectoid: Not the kind of person you want to spend a couple of days in a plane with, that’s for sure. haha.
Loving this story so far. I really like Newman and I’m hoping to see more of that as well, but this looks like it will keep my interest for some time.
Matt: Thanks man! Yeah, I’m not sure what exactly the future holds for Newman. I’ve got some ideas for how I could execute it moving forward, but it wont be until I’ve got some more free time, and it doesn’t look like that’s coming any time soon. We’ll see what happens.
I don’t want to pick too many nits, but the airplane geek in me would like to point out that the B-25 was a rather smaller aircraft than depicted in today’s strip. (I’ve actually been in one [air show display] and even with only five other people in shirtsleeves it was surprisingly crowded! [Believe me, it is *not* an airplane that you can stand upright in!] Imagine how crowded it was with it’s full combat crew of seven in flight-gear and loaded to the gills with bombs and ammo!)
Otherwise, it looks great!
Reynard: Fair point. I’m not gonna be too stickler for detail, but I may have to tweak the first panel a bit. Fortunately for our friends here, Eddie’s B-25 is quite hallowed out and doesn’t carry any bombs haha.
I feel compelled to pick a nit of another kind, because I think I see a typo in the last panel. Shouldn’t “then” in “more class then this thing” be “than”? You know, if it’s the sort of thing you’d want to fix before printing or something.
And having already read the next page as I’m writing this, I kind of wonder if this will be an all new episode of action and adventure, or if it’ll be a continuation of the ongoing plot line. When I was a kid I got a bit disappointed when only the first episode of “Tales of the Gold Monkey” had anything to do with a gold monkey. Same thing with Buck Rogers, when he battled a princess in the first episode, and then the series never touched on the other 99 princesses. But I guess I’ve grown out of such expectations by now.
Gillsing: Thanks for the typo catch. And I can assure you, this is most definitely a continuation of the first issue. All of the first six issues will make up book 1 and one large story. The following books will maintain the same continuity as well. Have no fear
Caution Dian; that is a bomber – it has parts that can be opened in flight … to drop things out of …
